1. Concrete Technology Lab
The lab is for use by students of the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture and is one of the first equipped laboratories at Torbat Heydarieh University. In this laboratory, with the equipment available, concrete is made of different mixing designs and a variety of pressure and tensile tests are performed to find its strength. The laboratory now has most of the equipments required for testing, according to the standards.
The most important equipments of this laboratory are:

2. Soil Mechanics Laboratory
The lab is currently providing services to the students of civil engineering and architecture in a public place with the Concrete and Building Materials Laboratory.

The most important laboratory equipments are:
• - Los Angeles Soil Erosion Machine
• - Permeability device
• - Consolidation device
• - Direct cutting machine
• - Oven

3. Building Materials Laboratory
To better acquaint students of civil engineering with modern building construction materials, all kinds of building construction materials, all kinds of stones, different industrial insulators and so on. Most of the construction material has been collected as gifts from construction companies.

4. Modern Building Construction Materials Institute
In this laboratory, a variety of tests are performed on different materials to determine their resistance to pressure, tensile, impact, bending, torsion and fatigue. The lab is currently serving students in mechanical engineering, industrial and civil engineering.

5. Materials Resistance Laboratory
In this laboratory a variety of tests are performed on different materials to determine their resistance to pressure, tensile, impact, bending, torsion and fatigue. The lab is currently serving students in mechanical engineering, industry and civil engineering.

6. Laboratory of Hydraulics and Fluids Mechanics
This lab was established in 2011, equipped for use by students of the Department of Civil Engineering; as the field of Mechanics was added to the curriculum of the university, the students of the field of study have been using this lab for the course of fluids mechanics; considering the differences between the courses of mechanical and civil engineering, equipments in accordance with the syllabus of mechanics were purchased in 2017.

7. Laboratory of electronic machines
The educational complexes of the laboratory were designed and built using the knowledge of university professors. By designing and constructing these collections, they saved over 700,000,000 Rials per year. Students in electrical and mechanical engineering are currently using the equipments and it is one of the most complete labs in the region.

8. Logic Circuit Lab and Digital Basics
The lab has five logic circuit training complexes, plus a digital basics course for IT, computer, and electrical disciplines using the FPGA, ARM, and AVR boards.


9. Switching software lab
The laboratory was set up in collaboration with the Telecommunications Department, and currently the Telecommunications Department has lent its crisis communication service cabin to the university, which is used for the provision of the switching software course to the telecommunication students.

10. Heat transfer lab
The laboratory was equipped with a budget of 600,000,000 rials for the purpose of examining topics related to the heat transfer course experimentally. Students in this lab practically study various methods of heat transfer as well as the operation of thermal systems and get acquainted with calculations on these topics. Equipments available in this laboratory include:
• Radiation Heat Transfer monitoring device
• Free and forced heat transfer monitoring device
• Thermal conductivity coefficient measuring device for fluids and solids
• Shell and tube heat exchanger
• Heat transfer device on extended surfaces
• Pipe heat exchanger

11. Machine and Vibration Dynamics Laboratory
This lab was equipped with a budget of 700,000,000 Rials, to let students understand the topics of Vibration, Automatic Control, Dynamics and Machine Dynamics. Students in this lab practically study the problems of vibration and control systems and perform calculations on these topics.
Equipments available in this laboratory include:
• Gyroscope device

- Centripetal acceleration device
• Speed ​​of shaft crisis with stroboscope
• - One degree free oscillation device
• - Static and dynamic balance device
• - Cam and follower device

12. Thermodynamics Laboratory
The laboratory was equipped in 2015 toward the practical study of topics related to Thermodynamics I and II, with a budget of 600,000,000 Rials. Students in this lab practically study the thermodynamic cycles and perform calculations of these processes.
Equipments available in this laboratory include:
• -Compressive cooling cycle
• Mechanical heat pump
• - Air conditioning
• - Gasoline Engine
• Mechanical joule

13. Electronic and Measuring Circuits Laboratory
The electronic lab training complexes were designed and built in conjunction with the circuit and measurement training complexes at the university. The electronics lab provides services to students in electrical and telecommunications. Due to the availability of computer systems and data projectors, the software practical credit also use this laboratory in various disciplines.

14. Industrial Electronics Laboratory
Lab activities include designing and developing power electronic circuits and systems, manufacturing laboratory and semiconductor samples, and performing tests and operational tests of manufactured systems, such as static reactive power compensators, synchronous generator static excitation systems, induction motor drive systems, and digital governor systems based on specific procedures. This laboratory has the general equipment of electronic laboratories such as spectrum analyzer, logical analyzer, RLC meter, memory equipped oscilloscopes plus special electronics laboratory equipment such as high voltage equipment such as simple voltage and high voltage probe and high voltage power supplies.
In addition to the above cases, the laboratory also has analogue power system simulators, laboratory sets of rectifier inverters (including blocks: inverter, rectifier, charge sets, metering blocks and control blocks) and laboratory sets for AC and DC motor control.

15. Linear Control Laboratory
In this laboratory, practical instruction of linear control courses is provided. The lab was equipped in 2018 with a budget of 500,000,000 Rials for the students of electrical engineering.
Its equipments include:
• Temperature control training sets
• Hanging track training sets
• Servo motor control training sets

16. Telecommunication Circuit Lab
The lab consists of ten telecommunication circuit training complexes that currently serve students in electrical and computer engineering.

17. Asphalt and concrete pavement laboratory
The purpose of equipping and commissioning this laboratory was to provide laboratory training and scientific services in the field of bitumen and asphalt, to formulate related products and their applications and to solve problems and meet the needs of the industry. The laboratory is mainly used for university researches, bitumen and asphalt lab for the undergraduate courses in civil engineering.


18. Power and Relay Protection Systems Laboratory
The facilities of this laboratory and its main board are the power plant model. This set can simulate the behavior of a power plant and provide useful experiments. The lab is set up to serve students of the electrical engineering department and the following equipments can be tested with the equipments of this lab.
• Generator Reaction at Different Loads (inductive / Ohmic / Capacitive)
• Types of short circuits on line
• Synchronizing generator with network sensor
• Studying synchronous generator behavior
• Connecting the generator to the network with a three-phase transformer
Modeling different types of lines with different properties and other experiments has been done as per the view of the university instructors.

19. Robotics Laboratory
This laboratory has been equipped and set up for the practical work of the robotics course and as the laboratory of the Mechanics Group. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of this laboratory, it can also be used to train other disciplines.

20. Computer Networks Laboratory
The lab was established to familiarize computer students with computer networking hardware and software. The following equipments are available in the laboratory for this purpose.

21. Block Chain and Parallel Processing Laboratory

Workshops List:
1. Welding & Sheet metal working Workshop
The workshop was established in 2011for students of Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanics, Industrial Engineering, Plant productions and Electrical Engineering students with 4 cabins for electrical arc welding. During the equipping process, oxyacetylene gas welding was also added to the complex. To improve safety, oxygen and oxyacetylene gases capsules have been stored outside the workshop space and in a special chamber and the gas required for welding is piped into the workshop.

2. Casting workshop
This workshop was equipped in 2011 with the aim of presenting casting courses to students of industrial engineering and mechanical engineering. In this workshop, using molding grades and soil ponds, the desired objects are molded and the desired objects are simulated after melting the metal (aluminum or lead) and injection it into the mold. The workshop is particularly safe due to considerations against the high risks, and students are required to wear safety equipment such as firearms and gloves, and a special safety mask.

3. Wood workshop
Students of civil engineering and architectural engineering are introduced to wood working equipment and design and manufacturing wooden structures. Working with wood cutting machines is very dangerous and therefore the safety equipment is used in the workshop.
The equipments of this workshop are as follows.

4. Electrical Basics Workshop
The workshops were designed and built at the university in collaboration with university professors. Due to the modularity of the collections, it is also possible to expand. Currently, 7 industrial power complexes and 7 construction power complexes are being designed and operated in the workshop. Training aids, such as cable introduction boards and industrial equipments are also used.
A solar panel training complex has also been designed with the help of students and has been set up for solar-related experiments in the workshop.
Also to further coordinate practical training with industry in this area, there are four PLC training sets in design and construction process.

5. Switching workshop
The workshop was designed to serve students in the field of Telecommunications and Electrical Engineering in collaboration with the Telecommunications Department of the city, and all equipment were gifted to the Telecommunications Group by the Telecommunications Department.

6. Molding and building components Workshop
The workshop offers two courses of molding and building components for civil engineering students.

7. Surveying workshop
The workshop equipments are stored in warehouse and provided for field use by students of the Department of Architecture and Watershed Management.

8. Winding workshop for electronic motors
The winding workshop of electric motors was established with the aim of providing free training and increasing the level of practical information of students. So far, high quality training courses have been organized for students of electrical and mechanical engineering.

4. Research and training greenhouse

5. Mushroom workshop
In this hall, students cultivate a variety of shellfish, button and medicinal mushrooms, and a mushroom cultivation workshop is held throughout the Academic Year.

6. GIS Laboratory and Geomorphology
In this laboratory, there are courses from the Department of Nature and Development Engineering which include GIS, Remote Sensing, GPS, Surveying, Geology, Hydrology, Cartography and more.
Equipments in this laboratory include:
Collections of minerals, current meter and its appendices, geological hammer, GPS device, laser meter, Grand Bowl device, aerial photos, digital scales, sieve types, sieve shakers, & software used in various courses.

7. Laboratory of Rain and Erosion Simulator
Rain simulator is a device that is capable of producing on small experimental plots of rains with hydrological properties very similar to those observed in nature such as intensity, kinetic energy of raindrops, and uniform distribution. This type of rain simulator can be used to measure soil erosion due to the impact of raindrops and also to the erosion caused by the impact of runoff on different soils when used in conjunction with a water infiltrator. This simulator has been used in many studies of soil erosion science and conservation to determine the hydrodynamic properties of the soil and the surface changes of the earth, such as the type of soil erodibility, etc.



8. Herbarium of herbaceous and medicinal plants
Herbarium, Dry Garden: A rich source of native plants from the vast land of Iran collected and maintained by systematic vegetation professors and students. This collection is also used by graduate students as well as many research projects in this area.

1. Physics Laboratory
In this laboratory, physics experiments of the basic sciences group including general physics, thermophysics and magnetism for all agricultural and natural resources groups and engineering groups.
Laboratory equipments are as follows:
Physics I: Atwood Machine, Oscillator, Hooke's Law, Field Force Assessment Apparatus, Longitudinal Metal Expansion Coefficient Device, Friction Coefficient Device
Physics II: Power Supply Device, Digital Multimeter, Effective Electrical Conductance Factors Device, Wheatstone bridge, Selector Box, and types of Capacitors and Resistors

2. Chemistry Lab
Chemistry is one of the basic sciences underlying various sciences such as agriculture, numerous disciplines of engineering, medical biotechnology and pharmacy. General chemistry, organic chemistry, phytochemistry and related labs are held at Torbat Heydarieh University each semester.
